The Yaire Ringo Midi is a spoon lure with a mother-of-pearl coating, made in Japan and designed for "area fishing" (trout fishing in stocked waters). The Ringo Midi is the smaller brother of the Ringo model. The spoon is designed so that when retrieved, it doesn't surface but moves within the water layer chosen by the angler. This allows the Ringo Midi to be fished close to the bottom, even in deeper waters. The Ringo Midi is also a super successful spoon lure for river fishing. In sections with moderately strong currents, it can be drifted with the current at the speed of the water.
